AFP Greater Vancouver Chapter is looking for board members and committee chairs. Our goal is to bring on candidates that are committed to serving and participating in the growth of our association.
If you have experience in public relations, marketing, government relations, fundraising, not-for-profit management, volunteer management, or risk management, it would be an asset but we’re willing to consider all candidates from different backgrounds and experiences.
Length of Term: 18 months
Average Time Commitment per Month: 5 – 15 hours
Qualifications: We are looking for volunteers who:
- Are Chapter members in good standing with a minimum of five years’ experience in the development field.
- Have excellent organizational and people skills are a must.
- Support the annual AFP Every Member Campaign through a personal contribution.
Applicants will be screened before being invited to attend meetings and stand for election by the general membership at the next Annual General Meeting.
During the screening process, you will be asked to speak briefly about your commitment to volunteerism and highlight the qualities you think would make an ideal director or committee chair.
