The Art of the Ask

We are thrilled to announce the return of The Art of the Ask, a well-loved event in our AFP community. Join us on Wednesday, June 18, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the University Canada West (UCW), located at 1461 Granville Street in Vancouver. A special thanks to our venue sponsor, UCW.

New for 2025, we are offering this event as a two-part series. In June, the program will be tailored to fundraising professionals with less than 5 years of experience. In the fall, it will be designed for those with 5+ years of experience.

This engaging breakfast event will feature a speed dating format, allowing attendees to rotate twice during the 1-hour session. Each speaker will deliver two 30-minute presentations, fostering focused and engaging discussions with small groups of participants. The first half of the event will be dedicated to networking and introductions, setting the stage for meaningful connections.

For the first event of our two-part series, we have identified several potential topics (outlined below) that will provide essential knowledge and actionable methods to improve fundraising initiatives.
