We are pleased to offer two scholarship opportunities to our upcoming AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course.
Only AFP Greater Vancouver Chapter members are eligible to apply. To become an AFP member, please register online.
AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course
Value: $550 CAD (full course registration)
The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course is an introductory, 2-day course providing a comprehensive overview of fundraising principles at the fundamental level. The course content covers the roles and responsibilities of fundraisers, with emphasis on responsibilities you are likely to encounter at the beginning of your career.
The course is taught in an active learning style and includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals, making the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable. Eligible for 16 CFRE continuing education credits.
This course will be offered in-person on Thursday, October 1st and Friday, October 2nd, 2026. For more event details, please click HERE. Two applicants will be selected.
Candidates must be willing to share their AFP Fundamentals experience with their chapter after the conference has concluded. This can be accomplished through a report to chapter leadership, a contribution to the chapter newsletter, or an alternate contribution identified by chapter leadership.
