| Job Description | About West Coast LEAF West Coast LEAF (WCL) is an intersectional feminist legal advocacy organization working to deepen substantive equality for women and gender-diverse people. We have an established track record of contributing to landmark legal victories and progressive changes to the law and public policy. We are a provincially based non-profit society and federally registered charity, funded through a mix of foundation and government grants, individual donations, and sponsorships of our annual International Women’s Day Equality Breakfast. WCL is a unionized workplace with a core staff team of eight. For more information: westcoastleaf.org Position Summary The Manager of Development plays a strategic and hands-on role in strengthening WCL’s fundraising during a period of organizational transition and growth. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is responsible for building and advancing a relationship-based individual fundraising program that grows donor engagement, increases revenue, and supports long-term sustainability. In addition, this role contributes to grant prospecting and proposal development in collaboration with the Executive Director and program staff, supporting the organization’s near-term revenue needs. Working in close collaboration with leadership and the Manager of Communications, the Manager of Development brings structure, clarity, and consistency to donor engagement efforts, with a focus on monthly giving, major gifts, and legacy giving.
