Emma Gauvin (She/Her)

Emma Gauvin is the Director of Psychosocial and Adult Services at BC Centre for Ability. In her current role she is responsible for leading the implementation of Foundry Burnaby – a new youth health centre in Burnaby for young people aged 12-24 with a focus on mental health. As a social worker and leader with 17 years of experience in the health and social services sector she has worked with many individuals and families with disabilities and other complex physical and mental health challenges and is passionate about providing inclusive services and spaces.

Kayla Cusack is the Senior Manager, Advanced Training Department at Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS).

Mike Taculad

Mike is Team Lead of Adult Vocational Services at BC Centre for Ability, a non-profit organization with two distinct employment programs (Opportunities Fund and Coast Capital THRIVE) along with partnering with WorkBC employment services. Mike has over 24 years’ experience in the human resources and employment services field, specializing in serving the needs of those with disabilities. BC Centre for Ability has been putting a lot of focus on understanding the needs of the employers in filling their job vacancies, and matching those who are looking for employment, but also in raising awareness about inclusion and diversity.
