As fundraisers, we are entrusted with something incredibly valuable: the confidence of our donors, volunteers, communities, and colleagues. That trust is built through ethical decision-making, transparency, accountability, and a commitment to doing what is right, even when the path forward isn’t always clear.
This month, we join fundraisers around the world in recognizing Ethics Awareness Month. AFP’s 2026 theme,”Rooted in Ethics. Human at Heart,” reminds us that while our tools, technologies, and approaches continue to evolve, trust and human connection remain at the core of our profession.
Thank you for the important work you do every day. We hope this month’s newsletter provides inspiration, learning, and opportunities to connect with fellow fundraising professionals.
